    A. The range of physical and biological conditions in which an organism lives and the way in which it uses those conditions. As niche refers to the role and position a species has in its environment, including all of its interactions with the biotic and abiotic factors of its environment. Options b, c and d just refer to the environment of the organism and don't mention the role that the organism has to play in the environment, or how it interacts with it. Only option a refers to that. Hence option a is the correct answer.
