How have approaches to environmental issues changed over the years

Environmental issues have been around for years and has worsen as years passed. Many efforts on research are directed into stopping and controlling these issues and, as years passed, technology have been innovated and are used for the benefit of the environment. Approach on addressing these environmental issues are more stronger and now more on doing it rather than just saying words. People are now more concerned on the environment thus more people are now cooperating to these efforts made by people in authority.
