The relationship of the lion and the zebra is that of a predator and a prey. When a lion takes a herd of zebras by surprise, the zebras start running in all directions instead of fleeing together. Why do the zebras do this?

    They have a better chance for more of them to survive

    Because it is scared and once they draft off by their selves thats when they get eatened
