Are humans scavengers or consumers?

    Id say scavengers but im not 100% sure

    Actually, neither of them. Humans mostly don't hunt for prey and they do not eat just plants (except for vegans). They eat dead and proccessed food, so they are detritivores (detritophages), what means: "detritus eaters", (decomposing plant and animal parts). This is what I've learned on the lecture of famous Polish profesor January Weiner some time ago.
