    False. Mineral extraction has a lot of issues especially environmental issues. Many lands had been destroyed due to mining. Researches are now focused on how to reclaim and restore these lands. Another problem is the acid mine drainage especially those mines which are abandoned. These wastes are permanent consequences ans should be carefully controlled to prevent leakages and disturbing other ecosytems.
