Explain when both the processes of mitosis and meiosis are performed in a multicellular organism

    Meiosis happens when gametes split and divide. Mitosis is when cells goes through "splitting" It happens all the time in humans. Mitosis happens after a sperm and egg fuse. So maybe when someone is pregnant, both processes happen?
