State one possible negative impact of importing a natural predator to control a pest.

    You can't really control a natural predator: it might also hunt other species, some, that the people importing it might not want eliminated.

    Further, once the pest is eliminated, the predator still remains in the area. Then it does not have anything to feed on: and even more likely will hunt other species!.
