Burning fossil fuels such as (coal, oil and natural gas) which releases carbon dioxide, a powerful greenhouse gas, that's has been hidden under the earths surface for 300 million years and cutting down forests (deforestation)

so it is the increased levels of green house gas in the environment that is causes most of the world global warming
