Arrival of action potential-acetylcholine release-end plate potential-binding of acetylcholinesterase to its substrate

Only one action potential arrives at the neuromuscular junction, is the synapse stimulated. Once action potential arrives, it causes release of acetylcholine into synaptic cleft. After this, the relevant potential is transmitted to motor end. Since function of acetylcholine is completed, acetylcholine is degraded by acetylcholinesterase.
