True or False?

When a prediction is proven true, the related hypothesis is true.

    I believe the statement is false. Prediction is an estimation or expectation from experimental results, whereas hypothesis is a scientific question which is being investigated in the experiment. Even if the prediction comes true, but it does not fulfill the logic or the science behind the hypothesis, then the hypothesis cannot be true.
