Biology Bob is angry that Chemistry Carl has sent a vase of red roses to his girlfriend, Phyllis Physics. Bob dumps 10% saltwater into the vase. Rose cells have about 1% salt inside. When Phyllis sees the roses, she is thoroughly unimpressed by Carl and is grateful to have a great guy like Bob. What happened to the rose cells?

    D because there is less salt inside the cell so water will move out in order to create an isotonic solution so the cells will shrivel
