I believe the answer would be B. Birds. Birds are organisms which utilize a one-way air flow through their lungs to maximize air flow efficiency and oxygen consumption. Air flow in birds are essential in flying. Also the air flow efficiency and oxygen consumption is needed by birds since their hearts pumps fast to cope up with the flapping their wings make to fly.

the respiratory system of birs differ from that of the mammals. they have one way airflow. The flow of the air is unidirectional and have parabronchial system. They also have larger surface area in the brochial system. There are two inhalations, and lungs do not expand nd contract like ours.
