Yellowfin tuna can be considered to be in the secondary consumer trophic level. The first trophic level, called producers, are the organisms that can make their own food. The second level, called primary consumers, are herbivores who consume producers. The next level, called secondary consumers, consume herbivores. Since yellowfin tuna eats herbivorous fish, the former is a secondary consumer.
