How do organelles give eukaryotic cells an advantage over prokaryotic cells?

    Eukaryotic cells having organelles makes them more complex and able to carry out far more functions than prokaryotic cells. The organelles allow them to make proteins and protect themselves, which prokaryotes cannot do.
