This is what I found on the internet: Ethanol The alcohol which is produced as a result of fermentation of sugars by yeast. fermentation A term for respiration in the absence of oxygen. glucose A simple sugar made by the body from food, which is used by cells to make energy in respiration. lactic acid A toxic chemical produced during anaerobic respiration.

Glucose is produced in photosynthesis. Yeasts are unicellular fungi and fungi doesn't photosynthesize. Therefore, yeast doesn't produce glucose.
