Which of the following is true about the cells of the human body? Environmental factors cannot influence the development of a cell. All cells in the human body are shaped like discs and contain one nucleus. Different cells perform different functions within the human body. The genetic information contained in cells differs between cell types.

    Answer - Different cells perform different functions in the body.

    Although the DNA composition of all cells in the same body is the same, different parts of the genetic information contained in the DNA are expressed in different cells. Some cells function is synchrony to do the same job; such cells combine together to form distinct body tissue.
