Describe the difference between aerobic and anaerobic respiration.

    Aerobic respiration is a process that requires oxygen to produce a net of 36 molecules of ATP for every one molecule of glucose.

    Anaerobic respiration is a process that does NOT require oxygen and produces a net of 2 molecules of ATP for every one molecule of glucose.
