The advantage of the tip of the frog’s tongue being sticky is that it can catch insects very easilyeven if they fly very fast such as the fly. The long length of the small intestine relates to its function in absorbing digested food because ittakes more time to pass through and allows for more calories and nutrients to be absorbed. In the frog’s heart the ventricle has a thicker wall than the atrium because it pumps bloodthroughout the body and to the lungs. The atrium only receives blood and then pumps it into the ventricle.
