When a scientist makes a discovery, it must be peer-reviewed (read and edited by a group of scientists that he does not know or do not know one another) before the finding can be published in a journal. Which reason would NOT prevent the finding from being published? A) Lack of enough data replication. B) Bias on the part of the researcher. C) Insufficient evidence to support the hypothesis. D) The finding challenges an accepted scientific theory.

    It is D because there could be something to prove an accepted theory wrong.
