What observation provides evidence of the effect temperature has on the density of ocean water?

A. Warm, dense ocean water holds rich nutrients at the surface of the ocean.

B. Dense, cold ocean water travels on surface currents from the equator toward the poles.

C. Cold, less dense ocean water creates haloclines across the ocean.

D. Less dense, warm water is found above the thermocline; dense, cold water is found below.

I think I know what it is but I just wanna know your opinion.
