How do the chromosomes in a sex cell differ from those in a body cell

    Sex cells are haploid, containing a single set of chromosomes, while body cells are diploid, 2 sets of chromosomes.

    Sex cells only have 23 chromosomes each 'cause they split into 4 and they need the opposite sex cell to make a zygote
