The evolution of birds came from small carnivorous dinosaurs of the Late Jurassic. The first carnivorous dinosaur is known as Archaeopteryx. It has feathers along its arms and tails. The difference is that, this bird has teeth suited for eating meat and a long bony tail. The Archaeopteryx also share some of its features form the carnivorous reptile theropods. Form the given choices above, none of them mentioned any of the two dinosaurs in which the bird evolve. The answer is letter D.
