    Biotic refers to the living organisms that live in that ecosystem. On the other hand, abiotic refers to the non livng organisms that are present around the living organisms in that ecosystem. They can also affect how the living organisms live. Examples of this are sunlight, moon, moisture. Wind, iron gate and sunlight are abiotic components. A dead leaf however, is biotic. Even if it is dead, decomposing bacteria will grow in the plant. And bacteria are living things. The answer is letter D.
