In water and nutrient uptake, the xylem vessel transports water in and throughout the plant. Also the water and nutrients are taken upwards by the plant roots. This is done with the benefit of mycorrhizae fungi and bacteria.

In internal transport these materials are transported through the plant's vascular system, either by xylem, which is the transport of water and nutrients, or phloem, which is the transport of sugars.

The basic of reproduction is pollination and production of flowers. Reproduction also depends on the type of plant. Plants come in many types, since those types are different, their process of reproduction are different also. Examples: Sexual reproduction occurs in pollination, in which the gametes merge. Asexual reproduction occurs plants' sporic meiosis process called sporogenesis, where the plant reprocess without gametes.
