What source of energy drives the water cycle?

    The sun. It's heat energy, makes the water evaporate. The water vapour rises ... cools down ... then condenses and fall down ... this process continues again and again ... so the most needed heat energy to kick start this process is given by the sun. It sustains the whole cycle
