    The basic characteristics of all living cells are:

    -Growth and development. They have the ability to grow.

    -Homeostatis. Which is the ability of the cell to maintain a stable enviroment within itself. For example, cells ability to moderate how much water they have.

    -Movment either internally such as in the case of organelles moving or externally.

    -Reproduction. The cell has the ability to reproduce. This happens in your skin skin at the basel layer were it is constantly producing new skin cells to replace old ones.

    -Energy. Cells use energy for daily function so they need the ability to produce energy.
