Why using insect repellent reduces your risk of developing Lyme disease?

    Insect repellent reduces the risk of Lyme disease because Lyme disease is spread by the bite of an infected tick. So using Insect repellent would reduce the risk of getting Lyme disease because Insect repellent can get rid of fleas or decrease the risk of getting Lyme disease from fleas.
