What happens to the membranes in the plant cells and their chloroplasts when these cells are ground up in acetone?

Grounding organic solvent such as acetone compounds with the plant will cause the plant membranes to be fragmented. Fragmentation of plant membranes will rupture cell membranes to release the fat-soluble compound chlorophyll. Acetone is used to extract chlorophyll with the living plant tissues.
