    Nitrogen gas is converted into ammonia by a process known as nitrogen fixation. Important processes in the carbon cycle are photosynthesis, deposition, and decomposition. Both begin their cycles as gasses and finish as gasses. The stage of fixation in the carbon cycle is made by plants and animals.
