An apple falls to the ground on earth due to gravity.

Gravity is a force that applies to earth because of what scientists call space bend. As the earth creates a bend in space because of its matter, a force is created called gravity. If there was no space bend, there will be no gravity and hence the apple will go floating into outer space.

The Earth is larger and has a stronger gravitational pull than does the apple.
