Why is the start codon improtant

    The start codon is important because if u didnt have a start there would be a DNA mutation which would probably have side effects on humans such as not being able to speak, blindness, and just not mentally being there ... that could all happen if there wasn't a start

    A start codon is important because a ribosome begins translating a sequence of RNA into amino acids.
