    Liquid fats usually have more than one hydrogen bond while solid fats have only one. An example of a triglyceride liquid at room temperature would be oil.

    solid triglycerides are called fats and liquid triglycerides are called oils. The carboxylic acid moieties involved in forming fats and oils are often referred to as fatty acids
