The statement B is correct. Abiotic factors are the non-living factors which include rocks, soil, water, minerals, gases etc. Biotic factors are the living factors like animals, plants, humans etc. Rocks are abiotic factors and they have no life. They are not made up of living cells and do not require food for growth.

The answer is D. The living things in a biological community are called biotic components. Living things incorporate plants, creatures, microscopic organisms, parasites and that's only the tip of the iceberg. The non living parts of an environment are called abiotic elements. In a biological community some abiotic variables are daylight, temperature environmental gasses water and soil.
