A typical prokaryotic cell has about 3,000 genes in its DNA, while a human cell has about 20,500 genes. about 1000 of these genes are present in both types of cells.

a) based on your understanding of evolution, explain how such different organisms could have this same subset of genes.

    I think the best way to explain is that cells have their own uniqueness that is not just uniformity in every organism but also all of it may somewhat came from a single cell and that is how the 1000 of these gene are present on both the the two organisms
