Explain what happens as a puddle dries after a rainstorm

After all the moisture in the air depletes the sun makes the puddle evaporate and the particles that are pushed so closely together as water start to form into a gas and separate farther apart and start shaking really fast and deplete aswell.

Some water molecules at the surface of the puddle gain enough energy to escape into the air. This process gradually reduces the size of the puddle until it dries up.
