Many nonchordates have tails. What feature differentiates a chordate's tail from that of a nonchordate?

    I think the best way in differentiating the chordates tail and those who are non chordates is that chordata is just a persist embryo or throughout the life while nonchordata are those absent of tail or post anal tails
