Like poisonous dart frogs, monarch butterflies are brightly colored. What might be adaptive advantage of bright coloration?

    Bright colors are a warning to predators that the prey is poisonous, dangerous, distasteful, irritating, etc. Predators will see the bright coloration and hopefully pass the, over for something else.
