How do organisms and populations in an ecosystem depend on biotic and abiotic factors such as quality of light, water, range of temperatures or soil composition?

    Abiotic and biotic factors are what determine where an organism may live and how much a population can grow. For example, an organism needs water to be able to live and a population also needs water to be able to live as well. Without water, neither organism or population would be able to survive/grow.
