Suppose you are in the southern hemisphere during the month of December what would happen to the amount of sunlight as you travel south

    The amount of sunlight would increase because the northern hemisphere is shifted up during winter. The southern hemisphere would be closer to the sun allowing more sunlight during the daytime.
