    18% because C pairs with G. A pairs with T. T and C are not complementary base pairs, but we do know that if a molecule consists of 32% T, it must have 32% A as well.

    32 + 32 = 64

    100 - 64 = 36

    36 : 2 = 18

    There must be 18% of C.
