    The term that refers to the specification of jobs to be done within an organization and the ways in which those jobs relate to one another is the organizational structure. It specifies the activities to be done, allocation of the tasks, supervision and coordination which are being directed to the achievement of the goals of the organization. It outlines work roles and delegation of the responsibilities. Also, it determines the way information flows from one level to another level in the company. There are three types of organizational structure namely the functional structure, the divisional structure and the matrix structure.
