An investor would like to invest $60,000 in two stocks from a list of six suggested by a broker. how many investments are possible if the investor wants to invest $50,000 in one stock and the rest in another

    I would say that if the investor has $60,000 to invest in two stocks and is planning to invest $50,000 in one stock, and the balance $10,000 in another, then the maximum stocks to be invested in would of necessity be two.
