Here are the things needed to be considered:

    20 feet = 1 TEU

    40 feet = 1 TEU

For 70 twenty-foot containers, multiply it with the conversion factor (1 TEU/1 twenty-foot) then cancel the twenty-foot unit. The answer is 70 TEUs. As for 30 forty-foot containers, you apply the same process but you use the 2nd conversion factor which is (2 TEUs / 1 forty-foot). The answer is 60 TEUs.

    So 70 + 60 = 130 TEUs
