There are tons of ways that decisions are based on stakeholders. The responsibility of a company to it's stakeholders are important because that is who owns the company, and who has the most to gain or lose. Think of something relatable, like the show Empire. When he went public all of a sudden the decisions, especially big financial decisions, had to do with the benefit of stakeholders. If you remember everyone sat in a room and they all decided to go the route that would make them the most profit. That's because they wanted to make profit for the stakeholders so that those people keep buying shares of the company, and keep their money in the company. If you do decisions that are bad for stakeholders, those people can sell. If they sell their shares, the company can go out of business.
