The dimension of emotional intelligence that is described is Social-Awareness, mostly through empathy. Empathy is the ability to identify and understand the desires and feelings of other individuals putting itself into a state of mind that allows for to be as if in someone's situation. Besides, understanding or feeling what the other is feeling, empathy can also be related to reacting adequately to that that's being precepted.
