Can economic approaches to environmental management adequately account for the complex interactive system that make up the environment

    Our actions are based on the economy, whether we want it to be or not. There are some things that are run on a volunteer basis or to preserve something for the sake of protecting it (our national parks for instance). We are also realizing more and more that green approaches also save money. If we use less energy, then we're paying for less energy, and we keep more money for other things. In many cases, it's a win-win
