Mayella's siblings were not around when the alleged incident occurred because Mayella sent them into town to get ice cream with money she saved for them-This statement is true

    Explanation:

Mayella had sent his siblings down to the town for some ice cream. This suggests that she wanted them to go out of the house because she wanted to spend some time alone with Tom.

When Tom passed by the Ewell house, Mayella called him, requesting him to fix a door inside the house but tom did not find anything wrong with the door and was above to leave when then mayella asked him to get a box down which was kept on the top of a cupboard. When tom stood on the table, Mayella startled tom by grabbing his legs. She started hugging him and kissing him, demanding him to reciprocate. He requested her to let him go out of the house but she locked the door. Mr. Ewell was passing by and he appeared at the window and started shouting at Mayella. Tom ran out of the house as fast as he could.
