It is deducted directly from your checking account.

Explanation:

When using your debit card and you select the credit option it will still be debited from your checking account after a few days.

For example you use visa and process a transaction as a credit transaction, it is processed through visa network. You are authorising a debit to your account and you are not charged interest for the transaction.

The transaction amount is not taken immediately but takes a few days for the card company to remove the money from your account.
