Basic research is always intended to develop science and it is purely directed at exploring, enhancing and developing the already explored and existing theories/knowledge or to develop new theories as well where basic logic and aim is increasing knowledge and improving scientific research and its methodology. It is not being conducted purely for the practical purposes but to increase the knowledge concerned with the basic principles or reality.
