When two springs of stiffness constant K₁ and K₂ are used in parallel, their equivalent spring constant will be K₁ + K₂

In the present case K₁ = K₂ = 350 N/m

    Equivalent K = K₁ + K₂

    = 2 X 350

    = 700 N/m
